For about a year or so, I've been noticing my hairline receding at the temples. It seems to be moving pretty quickly and id like to try some treatment if possible, but all of them are designed for reversing hair loss on the vertex. I dont understand why these treatments dont work for balding at the temples. Do i maybe have a good shot at it since there are still fine hairs up there?
thanks,
-adam

Try getting some proscar or propecia. Also try Dr. Lee's topical formulas, especially Xandrox 15%. Its his most potent form of Xandrox yet. His site is http://www.minoxidil.com. You can also e-mail him at RichardLeeMD@earthlink.net. He will give you info on hairloss pretty fast. The frontal and temporal areas are the hardest to fill in. They must be more sensitive to DHT than the rest. But while your waiting around for info and good products to come, go to the store and get minoxidil anyway. Start with 5%. If that irritates your scalp step back down to 2% untilyour scalp can tolerate it a little better. You might like to get some saw palmetto extract and shoot for about 320 to 640 mg a day. It might help slow down the dht . You can get that at any good health or nutrition store. Also try nizoral 1% or 2% and mix up with equal amounts of Neutrogena's T-Sal. Wash your hair with it and let it soak in for about 5 minutes. Do that once a day three days a week or just do it every other day. Have anymore questions feel free to ask us. Good Luck.
