So I read that nizoral is only temporary. So is there a certain time you should stop using it? Or should you just keep using it every few days as long as you want your hair or are trying to keep your hair?

If there is enough matter in the universe to halt expansion, slow to a halt and then come under the influence of gravity, finally ending in what scientists call 'the big crunch' all things (including Nizoral the popular ketoconazole shampoo) would have to be considered 'temporary'

After you leave the bath or shower would be a strategically wise move

No, Nizoral only has to be used a few times, you can then stop and it's effects will last a life time, they call it the surgical procedure in a bottle for a very good reason.
