I've lurked on an alopecia areata forum and people said that baricitinib is a similar JAK inhibitor to Xeljanz but much cheaper and possibly just as effective. We all remember how Brett King regrew that young man's hair using Xeljanz and although he had AA, I still believe that similar drugs could benefit people with Androgenetic Alopecia if made into a topical.

JAK pathway was never tried on male pattern baldness, besides, if you fail to keep the substance local it may cause messy systematic effect.

I still we to try it just to make sure. If for some reason the missing link happens to be an auto immune response, then this could do us good. Problem is actually getting this stuff and finding a good protocol.
