I picked up an electric razor a while back and have been cutting my own hair for awhile. It took some practice, but I have found that I can cut my hair precisely how I need to cut it to make it look right and put less attention on any balding. Just experiment and you will a certain cut can make all the difference.
This in conjunction with Toppik can go a long way. I dont' feel bad about using some Toppik, I mean hell, women cake on makeup and get implants to cover up their blemishes, so why can't a guy have a little more hair? The great thing is that with some practice, it naturally blends in and just looks totally natural for my hair.
It really does look like your hair is thicker and not like some paint on your head. When I go out, I cactually feel like I have more hair and do not think about it at all because it's just that natural. Trust me on this! Make sure to get a color that matches your hair color. Light brown for me and their is NO difference in shade from my real hair.
Use some hairspray and a little gel and it makes it look even better and then if you do get lucky that night, you wont have to worry about a girl's fingers running through your hair, they're not gonna run them through gelled or hairsprayed hair. Been working lik a chram for me for years..
