like me. im 29. i love childlish things. i dont even have a driver's license. i never actually grew up and im still a virgin. when people see me they think im like this old grown up who is capable of everything. however they soon realize im very unconfident and prone to make mistakes and be dependent on other people. when they see im a manchild and then correlates this with my looks they feel utterly disgusted. because a bald guy need to be the most searious and manly and capable etc etc. this is the image they expect from a bald guy. a bald guy cant play on the manchild card. imagine if chris chan was bald. would he be allowed to play pokemon cards with kids?

i want my godamm youth back!!!!!. i became an old man at age 18. i hate it. i want to feel young. i despise my ugly bald head. yukkks

Losing you hair so young has no doubt impacted you significantly. However, I repeat, I know lots of people who are short, bald, short and bald, and they have a perfectly good life. One guy I know is say 5ft 5 and was bald 10 years ago, so probably mid 20s at the time. He married a very hot girl, had kids and actually left her for a younger model. He has a very well paid job.

I suspect balding young may have dented his confidence initially, but he shaved his head and rapidly moved on.

What is stopping you doing the same?

If you don't want, or aren't suitable for transplant, how about getting SMP to give you a frame?

How about learning to drive?

How about start doing things that will empower you and help you gain confidence?

It's a terrible waste of your life to feel so downbeat indefinitely. Start taking small steps and you travel further than you realise.

no. i will not. never. i will never be confident when i know that if someone knew i was faking they will all laugh at me. its just not me. i prefer the natural way
This is all mindset. I can not see myself being happy without hair. There is just no way. So for me its simple, I will just wear a hairsystem. Sure, it is far from ideal, but if you look into it is actually a pretty solid solution. It enables me to live my life the way I want to live it, as confident as possible. It will only influence like 5 % of your live, I am happy with that.

@Norwoodcel

The guy had a hot girlfriend in his mid - late 20’s who became his first wife, at the time he was in a very average and normal job / low salary.

Plus, as I’ve said on here before, 3 of my friends were shaving their head before 25, two of whom did not have money, just standard jobs, yet always had women and a great life in general.

Attributes they did all have in common were confidence and character.

My old boss, in fact one of the most alpha, influential and successful men I have ever met, was less than 5ft 9, overweight, wore glasses, was balding..... the list goes on. The man was a force of nature, magnetic, did more harm to himself through multiple divorces (could not keep it in his pants) and heavy socialising than anything else.

But I know I’m completely wasting my time on here trying to highlight that you are in life, who you make yourself.

It seems that a lot of forum members are stuck in a very bad place and want to vocalise this. Perhaps it is in someway a release.

It is however as clear as day that ‘balding’ is not the only issue holding them back in life. Mindset and taking positive steps forward are key.

25 here. Started balding at 18 years old. I know how you feel. My last years in high school were a nightmare as everyone called me old man. The same happened in university too, people made fun of my hair, told that I was 30-something, girls even started spreading a rumor that I was gay and that's how I became a gay joke. Why did they do it? I guess due to the fact that I wasn't acting my 'age'. I often made lame jokes and acted immature and they couldn't believe that I was a young guy. All they saw was some delusional old man who wasn't acting normal for his age.

These are not the only things that baldness did to me. My success with women is 0%. I have no friends, even though I really want to. My personality is still suppressed deeply as I started acting more and more like a machine instead of being genuine, because I accepted what this society told me and that is the fact that I should act mature for my aesthetic age. I also currently live with my parents out of convenience, but I have my own place.

I'm NW5 right now. All transplant doctors I talked to rejected me due to my retrograde and me having sides on finasteride. They offered me a shitty SMP instead, but I'm only considering it as a last resort and I would like to have it done at a competent studio since the results they showed me were pure trash. That being said after COVID crisis is over (if it's ever over) I'm considering trying out a hair system (currently there are problems with supply). You can also look into dermarolling and minoxidil, but keep your expectations low as it is not guaranteed you'll succeed, plus those needles from China are not guaranteed to be sterile so you would have to disinfect them properly.

If that was simple as that we would not have bald guys. Not everyone can take finasteride and not everyone is a candidate for a hair transplant due to poor donor or in my case having retrograde alopecia which also causes poor donor. Plus the guy has been balding for the past 10 years, so I doubt he's in shape to restore himself even to NW2.

Good advice. If you’re not happy, try something that may make you feel better.

Personally, I would not care if a woman wore a hair system, I even find them attractive bald. But a hot women in a system is a hot women in a system ! I still would!!!

Why should it be any different for men.

My mate got veneers to fix his teeth. They are not real teeth but he looks great. Same principle.

Dont know somehow veneers are more acceptable than wigs. And once people know u are wearing a wig it's as good as not having it.

lol. i was late for that even in 22. transplants are only suitable for those with slow receding hairline. not for those with aggresive earrly hairloss.
Idk my hairloss was always very aggressive (there almost can't be worse) and transplants have helped me A LOT. Did you consult with any surgeons?

Just wondering, but since you don't seem to be on any maintenance meds, what will you do if the non-transplanted hairs fall off? Won't you eventually run out of grafts and isn't there a risk that the donor area can thin out in the future?
