My hair is quite thick at the moment and I'm having a nightmare actually getting minoxidil to my scalp...

Is a dropper type applicator the best solution? And parting the hair in rows, soemoen said?

Certainly not the spray type....

Another question is just how dry does the hair need to be?

Because in the morning I apply hair gel when my hair is damp otherwise it doesn't work well...
Could I put the minoxidil when my hair is say damp but not wet?

Cheers

You can apply it to damp hair. It actually increases the absorption (this is well documented if you search google). The down-side (and the reason that the bottle tells you not to apply to damp hair) is that it can cause over-absorption and lower blood pressure. This is really uncommon thou. Minoxidil has been shown to be very safe and used by many many people.
