I use nizoral 2% 3 days a week and currently use nioxin shampoo/conditioner on the nizoral-off days. Are there better solutions than nioxin available that people stand by to help aide in maintaining/growing hair? looking for a replacement to the nioxin, to still be used when alternating with nizoral.

Revita or Regenepure. I used one of them everyday for the past 2 years (a lot easier to tolerate than nizoral).

i wasn't looking to replace my nizoral -- i was hoping to find something to alternate with it. revita/regenepure still both good for that? or would those be a bit much to handle on top of the nizoral?

I read on these forums that the t-gel that is light yellow (not coal tar) is good. There was an ingredient in there which may help male pattern baldness very mildly (yes I said mildly, please no one jump down my throat please).

Edit: The ingredient is called Piroctone Olamine. Rotate nizoral with a shampoo with that ingredient in it.

I use them every morning and 2-3 times a week I use nizoral 2% at night. Never had any problems. My favorite is revita, It gives me a lot of volume.

does Revita have any active ingredients to help prevent hairloss (or growth)? Or just more of a good conditioner to gain volume?

i've seen a lot of people on this forum reference revivogen -- does it solely help with itches on a sensitive scalp due to minoxidil/nizoral/misc treatments? or does it also help fight against hairloss? i ask, because i've never had an issue with itchy scalp while using miox/nizoral/s5/etc., so i would consider using revivogen only if it actually helps prevent balding in any way??
