TSAL TGEL so I hear.

I'm on TSAL or TGEL daily and I have to say that TSAL rocks. My head barely has itch or irritation on those days.

My derm gave me a scrip for Lidex (generic name: fluocinonide). It comes in cream, lotion and gel. You apply at night and leave on overnight. I seem to be the only person who has mentioned it, but IT WORKS.

Yes, 2-3 a week. He's what I do: use Nizoral, massage scalp and let it stay on a few minutes. Rinse off well.
Use a mild moisturizing shampoo for a second sudsing.
Rinse well.
Maybe that's why my hairand scalp did not dry out. :)

Got another fellow who is singing the praises of Folligen as an itch reducer as well. Nothing else worked for him.

Folligen rocked my socks! On a scale from 1 to 10, if was at a 9 for irritation, i'm at a 2 now. Hoping it only gets better.

I believe that Folligen can help avoid sheds also. My experience only.

I'd say, Folligen does reduce itching and irritation.

On my initial shed, in Jan., Folligen SEEMED to cause the shed to cease.
While still using Folligen, I had another shed start in June. This shed (diet induced) is now winding down.
Question, If Folligen helped stop the first shed, why did it seem to do nothing for the second shed?
Or, did the first shed end on its own?
I have been dying to ask this question all summer!!

Hard to say. I found using the folligen shampoo and conditioner seems to make the folligen spray more effective.

Also, the 100 brush strokes a night seems to help avoid shed also.
