unfortunately, not only do i suffer from really bad hair loss but ive also got high skin turnover caused by sebborheic dermatitis. accompanied by inflammation, redness, sometimes severe itching, u name it ive got it.

about 2 year ago i used regular rogaine, and that only exacerbated my existing problem..IT WAS HELL!!, sometimes i wanted to get a fork and give my head a dood old scracth.

ive read on FLURIDILS website that, fluridil isnt suitable for SEB DERM sufferers as the vehicle used to deliver the active ingriedients, are done by ISOPROPYLE ALCHOHOL.

Dr Lee apparently has a version that hasnt got poly propelyene glycole.

my question is; is this the same as the isopropyle alchohol??

ive used a topical before. NISIM NEW HAIR BIOFACTORS. but that contained alchohol as well, im not sure what sort though. even after using that topical, i expirienced my scalp skin going dark and peeling off. just like if you were to put anticeptic on a wound.

i want to go back on minoxidil but im really scared of the constant itching again.

anyone got any advice?

BTW, i already use nizoral, and emu oil.

many thanks.

John.

Isopropyl and propylene alcohols are different. Isopropyl alcohol is the same as rubbing alcohol. To see if you're allergic to it, go to any ol' store and buy a $0.70 bottle of rubbing alcohol (isopropyl) and see if it causes you irritation.

Also, try T-Sal or T-Gel on your hair.
