Bicalutamide Vs Spironolactone For Hair Regrowth

I know this isn't something very discussed here, since people are scared of finasteride of course they won't even know about the actual potent antiandrogens.
But I need the info so I'll try anyway.

I am soon going to start my hormone therapy regimen, and I'm hoping it will help with my temple/hairline recession. The problem here is that I don't have any info or studies about bicalutamide and hair regrowth, but a lot of people are saying that it's fantastic for it.

I don't know if I should just get spironolactone since it's confirmed it helps, but not that much; or risk it and get bicalutamide which is a LOT better in every other aspect and (supposedly) also with hair regrowth, but it's just rumours.

Any information about it is appreciated.

Why not use Estrogen?
I will. That's the point of hormone therapy. You use an AA along with estrogen. I am going to take 2mg oral estradiol daily, and possibly increase it to 4mg someday. I just have to decide between spironolactone or bica.

Bicalutamide will be more effective and safer than Spironolactone. Theoretically you can take a dosage of bicalutamide once a week and it would be effective against AA.
For god's sake bicalutamide is not chemical castration. but this should absolutely be your last option and I personally won't go near it.

Be careful . when I exceeded 2 mg estrogen , I had side effects

Is it really safer than spironolactone ? I am a woman and i am considering spironolactone or Bicalutamide, but i am not sure because of hepatic toxicity.

I'm considering topical spironolactone from my Dr.

Have you heard anything positive about this with women?

I want to avoid going on birth control pills and I had a (mild) reaction with Oral spironolactone. If i go back on it i have to take birth control pills if i can.

on a site of endocrinology for regrowth with spironolactone ,you must take between 100mg and 200 mg.I don't think that a topical spironolactone is effective

I take oral spironolactone 100mg (it's been just two days). What kind of reaction if its not too much to ask ?
There is a thread on this forul about sipro+diane on a lotion, through by a guy named "miracle". Seems to give some results.
People have questioned his testimony. For us women it's not easy to get results orally ,then topically only ..

i took spironolactone for few weeks and my period would not start.
Went to gynecologist and he did sonogram and it was inside me but would not start.
He told me to stop the spironolactone.
I stopped spironolactone but it took 3 months for period to start.
It was not painful or scarey but it's not healthy if that happens for too long a time, it needs to come down.
So if you skip period just make sure you are skipping it and not that its stuck inside you.
I hope that makes sense the way i wrote it.

You mean better orally? i agree but if i can get some benefits topical without the side effect i get from spironolactone it may be wroth a try. Worse is it does nothing.

Maybe the topical does not have to be such a high dose because its at the site of the DHT not metabolized?
I'm guessing.
I don't want oral minoxidil but is the dose that worked orally same as topical?

Also do not be scared of my side effect, its worth you trying the spironolactone for sure.
