Hello friends,

I just want to tell you about my male pattern baldness situation. As you may remember from my few posts I had been about no. 4 on scale before I started with minoxidil and nizoral four months ago.

12.10. it will be my first two months on finasteride and now I can see noticable changes. Faster growth. Lots of vellus hair and in general my hairloss is a little bit less noticable then before treatment.

Although I think I have the same hair as let say three years ago (what I mean is great succes) my situation is still very bad. But where is some responce there could be improvement expected in future.

Especially I am looking forward to reach month 3...4... on finasteride as effect could be expected.

What has surprised me! I have seen more improvement on my temle area than on my bald spot on the crowd?????

I am using minoxidil and nizoral as well. I am thinking about to stick with fluridil soon as I am from Czech Republic and I can just go to Prague and buy it in drugstore.

ledevoush, your success comes from minoxidil; you will probably not see results from finasteride untill after month 6 (still possibly before). Still minoxidil should continue to thicken your hair until the finasteride kicks in.
