hi guys, I' m taking fina since 2005 and in the last few days i was shocked from what i found reading the site propecia help.
Mental fog, depression, lack of initiative, problems with the circadian rythm and what i can say a total lack of willing to do things are all effects that really happened to me in the last years and i never linked them to the use of fina. I' m so scared I just decided to quit fina immediately. What do you think about it?

I'd have to say is that unless there's a measure by which you can quantify these.. Brain fog... depression... lack of initiative to do things... Some of these can very easily be the result of worrying about hairloss; the fact that you're taking finasteride to combat hairloss is possibly linked to it by the shear coincidence that you're worried about your hair, and you've just displaced your side effects (they might even be psychosomatic) and attributing them to finasteride use.

Until someone comes up with a method to quantify these sides, such as sitting someone down in front of a computer and hooking them up to an EEG or something, I'm going to continue to use finasteride...

I used finasteride twice for about one month each time. I didn't feel more depressed, but I had all the other side effects.

When I was on the finasteride, I never felt the same. My body and brain just felt different all the time, which is probably normal after taking a hormone changing pills.

For me the most apparent effect was lack of motivation. I think lower libido and lack of motivation are somehow related.

The effect weren't severe at all, but after feeling different everyday for one month, it got annoying and I quit.
