I went to a doctor some time ago and she recommended me a colleague of her who does this type of treatment. I'm not from Brazil (I'm from Peru) in case anyone wonders but the substances are supposedly imported form there. She told me this:

The name stands for Microinfusion of Skin Medications (by it's acronym in portuguese). This technique is meant to use a device that combines the technique of microneedling (or micro-holes in the skin) with medication injection. What is injected is minoxidil, finasteride and growth factors. The treatment also includes LED lights 15min before and 15min after the procedure. I also heard they use PRP.
The duration of the procedure is approximately 1 hour. It is meant to be 1 session per month for 3 months, after which it will be spaced every 2-3 months until it reaches only 1 session per year.

Each session is approximately 100 dollars. They also prescribe lotions, shampoos and medications to induce hair growth. She posted a pic on her page of a guy with quite good results, but those were in the top on the head and not in the damn temples like me (NW1-NW2ish).

Has anyone tried it of heard from it? Does it sound believable or it's pure nonsense? I guess that it seems possible as it uses medications that are proven to encourage hair loss while at the same time is not applied orally so side effects "could" be avoided to a degree. And at the same time I guess that injections should be more effective than superficial aplication. I'm new on this so there's some points I could be missing so I'd like to hear you guy's opinion on it.

If this belongs to another category or if it could be simoultanously posted in other one then I'd de happy to know.

I mean the Brazilian clinic that provides this treatment..
There isn’t one, it’s just marketed as a type of treatment. There’s not much information about it (besides IG and YT descriptions of what it is) which is exactly what makes it suspicious.

Actually it’s worth a shot.
Instead of applying minoxidil or any liquid to scalp, it can be injected into scalp.
I like this theory. For me it means a Mesogun or Mesotherapy. I bought a $100 mesogun, but it leaked and was cheap so I suspended my experiment to inject all sorts of topicals.
A really good professional mesogun costs in the thousands. It’s popular in Europe, not America.

Wow, awesome, this makes me seriously consider using this treatment. If I do I'll keep you updated.
