look at the one that youngbaldy posted - ORAL KETOCONAZOLE -

oralKet.jpg

1) REDUCES TESTOSTRONE PRODUCTION

2) HAS SHORT HALF LIFE

3) INHIBITS DHT BINDING TO PROTEIN RECEPTORS

Do not interpret this to mean you should take oral keto.

the graph shows the binding of HDHT, not DHT, to some protein. Not sure if SHGB is the androgen receptor or not.

So DHT competes with HDHT for the protein. As you can see, DHT is much more competitive than Keto for that protein. It is 10000x as competitive as Keto, and 10x as competitive as estradiol.

We need to find out if SHGB is the androgen receptor. If not, this graph means nothing to us. If so, it means nizoral does not block the androgen receptor at all, except in very high concentrations. The concentration int eh bottle is 10 ^ -2 M. The concentration in the scalp is probably a lot lower than that.
