i was on finasteride for 1 month with long hair bout 6 inch's decided to shave it all after 2 months of it growing back in i decided my hair on top was thin in sum spots so i shaved it again now since then 2 months later you can really appreciate the results of finasteride now at 5 and 1/2 months you can really tell the difference between the thickness. i believe if i never shaved my head i would of not been able to see if it was working so i think its cool for people to try this when they think fins not working. i also right b4 i shaved the 2nd time added 4,000 mg of msm just so the new hairs growing in could be stronger and thicker and so far im very happy with the thickness of the individual hairs coming in compared to my old thin 6inch hairs. and i know im not just seeing things because my mom after the 2nd time i shaved my head 2 months later said what did you do to your hair it looks alot thicker, so i guess after that long ramble my answer to your question is yes i do believe if you shaved your head every 2 months i think you will notice the hairs coming back in a little thicker each time. so it will look thicker with a buzz cut.
and a lot of people think msm is just a supplement that is hyped up like other viatmins claimed to make hair grow thicker and stronger, but I have all the proof i need the first time i shaved my head let it grow out for 2 months i maybe had 3/4 of an inch then shaved it again in less then 2 months my hair is closing in on 2inchs already and alot more thicker.
