Started to bald at 14-15yo.

Classic male pattern baldness story:
– Massive temples rotting at 18-19yo to NW3.5.
– Vertex receding at mid 20-s

Diffuse thinning story:
– Mid 20-s just after vertex

Retrograde Alopecia:
– Believed from the birth

Regimen:
– From 01.01.2017 – scientifically proven Finasteride 1-1.25mg ED
– From 01.02.2017 – scientifically proven Nizoral 2% EOD

Pictors attached:


1. Right temple this September. You can see a bit of weak invisible hair.


2. Right temple 08.02.17.


3. Left temple temple 08.02.17.


4. Vertex half of year before treatment (today it's worse).


5. Retrograde Alopecia behind the ear.

Current gains:
– Not sure but I see miniaturized hair thickening on the pics 2 and 3 (after 5 weeks of treatment). Especially on the left temple. You should zoom to notice.
– It seems shedding slowed down after I added Nizoral to the treatment.
– Nevertheless I continue to shed

Finasteride side effects:
– Libido is OK. I even keep my morning woods.
– Mental health is OK.
– Skin became a bit better I believe.

Yes, they're solid and thick.

They even connecting with hairline if I do not shave them between. You can clearly see it on photos.

My mother told I was born with receded temples so I think yes.

I suppose my natural is NW1.75-2

Yes. I think it is kind of hot on men. Though you should wax them instead of shaving them (if you don't want the rest of velus thicken more and more) I think.

I waxed a long ago but it's painful and time consuming. I have too much of hair there.

I shave every 2 weeks or so takes 10 seconds. I feared they will thicken but no, they do not thickening at all. Funny thing is I do not even have unibrow.

I hope so. I though my follicles dead on NW2 area until I made a HD photo. You can see they are ALIVE even after 5+ years.

No minoxidil? Could help you get regrowths. Also adding DMSO+castor oil on temples and vertex could help the regrowths you could get from minoxidil.

I probably will add after 3 months on Finasteride.

I didn't see a point to apply minoxidil if I will get sides or will not respond on Finasteride.

Apparently you can have good synergie from the two. Depends on people. Even if you did not respond on fina, minoxidil is better than nothing. I "believe" in a multi-angle approach (but mostly I am hopeless regarding hair loss!).

I will get RU58841 if it will be something wrong with finasteride.

Anyway I can start minoxidil any day – I do not lose anything since there is only a few years while min works.

If you make photos from angles I did you will have quite good as well.

I didn't make it for a purpose to show my "good hair" but for a baseline to future regrowth (hope).

I looks MUCH worse IRL, trust me.

I wanted hair transplant this summer but started to diffuse heavily. This isn't my imagination. Just believe.

I still have hope in these little dark hair will give them some time.

Minoxidil would bring your temples back. But not at this stage of balding. But try it.

I believe my follicles are quite strong considering they haven't died without terminal hair in them for a 5 years and giving me little dark baby hair.

Do not want to bother with min at this moment.
