Calculating percent concentration to mg/ml

I seem to always forget how to calculate this accurately and
I wanted to post it here to have it for future reference and
to make sure I'm right.

Given:
1g (gram or 1000mg) of solid / 100ml of liquid = is a 1 percent solution

1% solution calculates to 10mg per ml (1000mg / 100ml = 10mg per ml)
5% solution calculates to 50mg per ml (5000mg / 100ml = 50mg per ml)

Standard 5% minoxidil is 50mg of minoxidil * 60ml or 3000 mg of minoxidil

If I wanted a 1% spironolactone solution I would add 6 100mg tables to 60 ml. (10mg * 60ml)

Is that all correct?

You are correct in your calculations assuming the tablets you are using contain 100mg of your intended solute.

Yep, it's 100mg spironolactone tablets. I ground 12 of them up (for a 2% solution)
and mixed them in a 30ml of rubbing alcohol. After letting the bottle sit
overnight I poured off the liquid into another bottle leaving as much
of the fillers behind that was possible. Then added 30ml of emu oil. So
I hope I ended up with a 1% to 2% solution of spironolactone/alcohol and emu oil.

Seems to go on fine and it does not smell. It's only for night use because the
emu oil is very oily. :) But after just 3 or 4 days my scalp looks and feels
better. The hair is also feels much softer from the emu oil. Before it was dry
from the 2% nizoral I use every few days.

I want to add a few drops of Spearmint essential oil to my Peppermint body wash/gel. The body wash is 350ml, how many drops of Spearmint oil should I add if I want to give the body wash a little extra strength? 10 drops? I don't want to overpower it, just give it a little more kick.
