Taking extra vitamins won't improve your result at all- it's just if you have a deficiency in biotin/ ferritin/ zinc/ vit D that it *may* have an impact on hair growth- there is very little evidence of this in first world countries though. You would need to have a severe vitamin deficiency for a sustained period of time for it to affect your hair growth. If you have had a blood test and vitamins are within the normal range don't worry about taking any additional supplements- it's androgens that are doing the damage. Just need to control these and boost growth with growth stimulants

Thanks guys. I guess it can't hurt to try some. Wouldn't saw palmetto cause 5 alpha reductase reduction too. Anyone take that along with Finasteride?

Country Life and HairFollic men, I have both but be careful with country as it has higher dosage biotin that can cause acne. I would start with the non plus version and half the dosage plus drink loads of water.

Everything that's natural, is a good way to go. If your hair is damaged, you should identify the source of the problem. If it's something hereditary, then the problem is pretty complicated. You're going to need an operation and they aren't cheap at all. If the cause is the shampoo or a parasite, you can use an aphrodisiac or a shampoo that contains different natural ingredients. You shouldn't neglect this problem because the outcome can be pretty dangerous if you're not going to treat this right now. Speak with a doctor and lookout for a solution

I don't think any are going to make a major impact. Saw Palmetto and possibly Pygeum. Saw Palmetto may help for prostate issues, but there is thus far not really conclusive evidence either way. If you are serious about keeping your hair, consult with Doctor about finasteride/dutasteride.

I, too, spent a long time hunting for the perfect drug for hair growth, until I went to the doctor. My kidneys and liver were both acting up. He recommended a comprehensive liver-support formula featuring to help me enhance my health. My acid and electrolyte metabolism improved, and my hair no longer fell out on its own. And for hair development, I use a red pepper, vitamin B12 (for ampoule), honey, and egg yolk mask. I apply this mass to my hair and let it on for two hours. The scalp obtains improved blood circulation, and hair follicles begin to actively develop.

I've tried Kerastase capsules that you rub into your head, and not take orally. Otherwise, try something that contains Selenium.

I have been struggling with hair loss for a long time. It was short and looked awful. I tried every vitamin and supplement possible, but nothing helped. My doctor suggested that I adopt a healthy lifestyle. I started to eat healthily, went to the gym, and washed my hair with high-quality products. However, my hair was still lifeless. I decided to research on my own and talked to other specialists. They told me to use hyaluronic acid powder. I am sure that this product helped me have healthy long hair, but it depends on your hair type.
