Can finasteride/dutasteride change the way you look?

I was just wondering if finasteride/dutasteride can change the way you look?

I mean genetically? Or is a possible change just due to different fat storage, and water retention?

Ive noticed some people on here look different after starting finasteride/dutasteride, and was wondering whats the cause.

I for one gained some facial fat, and water retention, and was wondering if i stop the finasteride/dutasteride and work out really hard, will i loose this fat, or is it permanent? I guess its estrogen related fat. Can finasteride/or dutasteride possible put a strain on your liver, and speed up your aging somehow?

Will everything return to normal?

Any comments?

I highly doubt its the finasteride, people do change (its part of life) in fact its a certainty, it could be natural or it could be any number of other factors.

Thats not just life, i stopped using minoxidil, and was taking this stimulant with yohimburn in it, i was sweating and peeing like crazy, and doing physical work at my job for 8 hours, and my face leaned out a lot by the end of the night, and looked great like it normally does.

So i was retaining a lot of water in my face. Im not by any means fat, but i guess i might have a little baby fat in my face that causes some water retention when using dutasteride, so im going to burn as much face fat as i can using topical yohimburn ES.

Im thinking dutasteride does something and messes up my normal water balance or something.

you could get some lymphatic drainage massage, would help that problem.

stephen foote has posted before about the effect dht can have on lymphatic drainage. i dont know the specifics but maybe do a search of his posts and you'll it.

I would never say finasteride or dutasteride could not change your physical appearance such as more fat in the chest area or something like that. DHT is a powerful male hormone it could affect body fat accumulations or something we dont yet understand its definitely possible.

The incidence of gyno with dutasteride and finasteride were less than 2% at 24 months if I remember correctly, but on the order of something like 11% with flutamide..............................so flutamide REALLY might push fluid around the body when used somewhat.

What's all this about pushing fluid around the body, and lymphatic drainage?

I tried to communicate my symptoms to a doctor, namely water or air gurgling around my belly quite uncomfortably, and sometimes somewhat painfully, and burping, and he had no idea what i was talking about. I asked some people like dr lee and dr proctor who would at least have more experience with finasteride patients, and they hadn't heard of it either.

But that aside I dont think it would change your facial appearance much. I think these drugs make me better looking, if anything. Its any effect on my brain I'm concerned about

I plan to use it.

Yeah, be careful I used yohimburn ES on my face and the fumes from the mint oil in it really made my eyes sting a lot.

I had to wear swimming goggles for 10 minutes after applying.

A while back Ulter on anabolic fitness said they were gonna bring out another version specifically for the face but nothing seemed to come of this.
