by Alpecin you mean the caffeine shampoo? if that is the case, it is a scam. there is zero scientific evidence that it works other than a paper done by the company that produces the shampoo themselves. If you look at the authors of the paper (I read it a long time ago) the main author is the old German dude who used to show up in the ads and interviews.
