Hi, I have relatively long hair on my head and I have been using minoxidil liquid for three days so far and my hair has been really greasy. I was wondering if I can still get good results using the foam if it’s hard to get to my scalp. Also, if I don’t have a shed does that mean it’s not working?

I would also add since starting minoxidil for the past 3 days I’ve experienced crusty or swollen eyes and blurred vision in the corner of my left eye. Could this be from minoxidil?

I used to use foam on long hair, i would wet my hair a bit dermaroll for a few mins then apply the foam then roll for another 1 minute or so. Seemed to work fine, i would seriously suggest asking your dermatologist about taking 5mg oral minoxidil instead though. Puffy eyes might be from water retention, never used it before but dandelion root acts as a diuretic and might help.

I started using rogaine since a few days (in the evening only tho).
I have long and lots of hair, so it is defo harder. What I do is just getting the spray thing right on on my scalp, push a little so only a tiny amount of foam comes out, massage it a bit in and repeat untill I got the frontal area covered. In total takes like max. 1-2 minutes and around 1ml.

The thing with longer (and/or denser) hair is you gotta put more tiny dots of foam on your scalp instead of just spraying it like there's no tomorrow. lol

Also I wouldn't listen to the people suggesting to take oral minoxidil. The only hairs you'll grow with that are the ones on your butt cheeks and shoulders. The results on the scalp are little (if any) and you'll get lots of side effects.
