Can Nizoral Cause Shedding?

I've started using Nizoral 2% (twice a week) for a month now. I've been on propecia for 6 years and have mostly maintained my hair. Recently it appears that my hair is getting thinner. Not sure if it's just me or if it's the Nizoral? Can Nizoral cause shedding?

I started on minoxidil about 3 weeks ago, and started Nizoral a week ago to combat the major flaking. So far I have noticed more shedding after Nizoral use (just 2x so far). It might just be a coincidence. It could just be the minoxidil causing the shedding.

I have not read anything about Nizoral causing shedding... though by no means have I thoroughly researched it.

Yes, I've never heard of Nizoral causing thinning, but why don't you stop Nizoral usage and see if your hair goes back to normal. Then you will know.

I notice after I shampoo with nizoral I lose more hairs but I heard cause it dries out the scalp or something.

but its only removing the hairs that are on its dying breath basically.
