Can seborrheic dermatitis make hair loss worse?

Hi folks, I was wondering if a seborrheic dermatitis can make the hair loss faster or if it just makes the scalp itching and flaking. In other words, if I am balding and have seborrheic dermatitis too, will "looking after" my dermatitis slow down the hair loss? Just even a bit?

It would definitely help and worst case scenario if it doesn't - at least you don't have dermatitis.
