Can someone enlighten me on Zix/Super Zix?

I've heard/seen some fairly good stuff (for a topical) about zix, but I'm confused about acquiring it. Is it better to buy it or make it, and where should you buy it? Also, is super zix really better than regular zix? What are the active ingredients in zix?

Also, I've seen it compared to crinagen. Is zix an alternative to that?
