can someone tell me what this means?

As some of you know, the girl I dated in high school who broke my heart put me in a bad place but after leaving her alone and moving she has contacted me sproadically leaving me in a bad funk. Tonight she contact me and asked if the baby I was holding in the photo was mine. I wish I hadn't responded but I said no it is my cousin's wife's child. Why does she keep doing this, it really messes with my emotions.

broads like stringing you along

you did the right thing about leaving her alone
you probably should have not responded to her

she could be slightly lonely and like the idea of keeping you on the back burner

if you truly like her
you should stay in some form of contact with her

but if shes any way or form "damaged goods"
cut her loose and never look back

it may be difficult but try not to get emotional
or better yet dont let her know your emotional about the situation

she's better off thinking you no longer desire her
than she is thinking you do
gives you leverage
