Can switching minoxidil brands cause a shed?

I have been using a store brand version of liquid minoxidil for almost ten months and while it works, I have seen where you can get a large supply of Kirkland minoxidil for cheap compared to the store brand version I use.

My question is, has anyone switched minoxidil brands and not had a major shed as I have read some people have switched and seem to lose ground.

I've switched back and forth among probably half a dozen different store brands including Equate, Rite Aid, Members Mark,Kirkland, and a couple others I can't think of and noticed no difference---the transition was always seamless. They all contain the exact same ingredients and ratio of ingredients so I don't see where a problem could possibly arise---except in one's own head.

I changed. Got a huge shed. Then stabilized. Now after 2 months on the new brand, I started shedding again. Hope its a part of the treatment.

I wouldnt think switching brands would make any difference after all they all use the same ingredients,
I use Rogaine foam, dr Lee's minoxidil and kirklands minoxidil
