I wonder if someone can clarify this this...I tweezed grey hairs from front hairline many years ago and then several yrs ago noticed not actually a bald spot (to rule out AA) but an area of hairloss in front hairline that is significantly thinner than the rest of my hair and is see-through and no volume. I attributed it to a million things but the fact is it hasn't grown back and it is about 8 yrs now and is bothering me more than ever. Could this be attributed to the tweezed hairs b/c someone told me that 1 grey hair holds 5 hair roots (or something like this) and that there is permanent damage and can never come back. Since the rest of my hair is thick I can't think of any reason this fell out and why it hasn't grown back (I subsequently yrs later was diagnosed with hashimotos but this resulted in some shedding which by and large has returned). I also wonder if steroids would help in that area, or how it might react to a transplant b/c I don't want to damage the good surrounding hairs. S.
