Gotcha. Thanks. I heard it's generally better to buy a shade darker than your hair color. What do you think. I have dark brown hair.

Yeah, I'd buy a shade darker of whatever your buying if they offer one, but don't change colors to get there. If your hair is a dark blonde, don't buy light brown because it's a step darker, etc.

Is is just me, or was that post rather confusing? Anyway my hair is dark (or maybe even medium) blond, and the light brown toppik seems to match it. Haven't tried the blond toppik, but the dark blond nanogen didn't match it at all.

I'll be more clear. If your hair is brown, use a dark brown, but if your hair is dark brown, don't step up to their black. I believe it looks fine when you get a darker shade of the same color, but changing colors will make you look odd.

Of course, that's just my opinion.
