Can't upload avatar from my computer

I followed the directions for doing this under the "profile" section. This is what it says:

So how do I get this to work?

BTW, besides the forum avatar library, the link to an avatar via a url does work. The copy an avatar from a url to this forum or the upload of an avatar from my computer to the forum doesn't.

same here, I haven't been able to get it to work for a few weeks now I get the same message.

It seems that since this post a bunch of us have caught on to the link to url technique. Suddenly we have a lot more unique, non-HairLossTalk.com forum library avatars.
