Hi everyone. I'm almost 25 and I guess I'm like a Norwood 2 or something like that.
I've had a receding hairline for like 10 years now...it's been a slow process but it's definately receding (rogaine gel really helped maintain my temples). I've never been a Norwood 1 though. Even at age 12 I had a pronounced V-shape hair line (kids told me I would be bald by age 15...fun times).
My hair has also become thinner in general over the years as well.

So any other slow receders out there have long term luck with just rogaine and Nizoral? I just don't think my hair loss is aggressive enough yet to start takin propecia. That sh*t scares me.

I'm fairly certain most of you will tell me to get on finasteride asap blah blah blah, but remember my hair loss is very slow and I barely even shed at all. Wouldn't finasteride cause loads of my hair to fall out? Should I just wait a few years before going on finasteride if rogaine stablises my hair loss?

finasteride is probably your best bet as much as you hate to hear it. You might never need minoxidil.
