Ceramic VS Titanium Plates

My hair stylist recently recommended me to get a straightener with titanium plates. I currently have a ceramic plated one. My stylist is obviously a professional and has an expensive titanium plated straightener that she uses on my hair. Of course, when she does my hair and uses her straightener my hair looks and feels better. So I want to get a titanium straightener based on her advise. So I want to ask anyone with a titanium straightener or experience with it, would you say that hands down titanium is better? And do you think it is worth it paying a lot for one or do you think you can get one for cheaper? Or is ceramic okay?

titanium plates heat up faster than ceramics......and is slightly better on frizzy hair.

I've got cermic GHD's, they heat up in under 20 seconds, I don't think i'm in that much of a hurry to need my straighteners to heat up faster than that :)

so i wouldn't bother personally, ceramics are more than enough for personal use

I'm not a woman, but after hearing my wife complain about her cheap straightener I decided to get her a new "good" one. I did some research and it seems like the titanium ones are the best now. Based on reviews and recommendations I bought this one:

She could tell a night and day difference between the new one and her old $25 ceramic one. She mentioned that it does not grab her hair like her old one did.
