I read in some thread somewhere (can't find it) that cetirizine is only water soluble to the amount of about 100mg / L which would mean most of the formulations people are working with would be using too much. Most formulas I've seen have had something like 300mg / 50mL. So I started poking around and found on chemspider the following stats:
Water Solubility Estimate from Log Kow (WSKOW v1.41):
Water Solubility at 25 deg C (mg/L): 101.3
Water Sol Estimate from Fragments: Wat Sol (v1.01 est) = 4263 mg/L
Needless so say those are very different stats. Anyone more scientifically versed willing to comment on which figure might be more accurate?
