Chest Ache and Sore Throat From Propecia

I am in my third day on Propecia 0.5mg.

I noticed since my second day that my throat is feeling sore/aching and my heart sometimes slight pulpitation and aches a little.

Will these effects go away or should I stop treatment? I am really annoyed that I am getting these effects on just 0.5mg!

I would appreciate any help on what I should do next. Will Propecia have any effect if I reduce my dosage to 0.25mg?

Let me explain more. Its not like a sore throat, its more of an ache in my throat. But I am more worried about my chest symptoms.

I don't know whether or not Propecia causes this but chest ache and an ache in the throat does not sound good. Sounds cardiac

Have you considered the fact that you're probably just slightly ill?

I've read quite a lot about finasteride side effects and I am pretty sure that there is no way you can feel these symptoms from finasteride. You're either sick or it is all in your head.

finasteride can't affect your heart, only minoxidil can do that.

Get your thyroid checked. Propecia can certainly have an impact there.

Man there are some retarded people out there ready to discredit anyone with finasteride sides.

Based on my experience, if something is weird after starting finasteride, ITS THE finasteride. There is no end to the ammount of sides reported from the drug.

As for your sore throat, this is an OFFICIAL side of the drug. But this is classified as an allergic reaction to the drug.

What are the possible side effects of Propecia?

Stop taking Propecia and seek emergency medical attention if you experience an allergic reaction (difficulty breathing; closing of the throat; swelling of the lips, tongue, or face; or hives).

I am sure heart palpitations have been reported too. But you can look it up yourself.
