Clarky's Story( 23yrs old, Pic's added at last)

Alright Lads

Where do I start, let’s see! My names clarky, I found this website about two months ago and honestly I think it’s brilliant. I’ve gathered so much information to help with my personal battle against hairloss, not only that but being what I would call a young sufferer I found a lot of comfort seeing fellow members of this forum achieve success any shape or form.
I've been losing my hair for what I would say about two years (well that was when I heard my first comment down the pub), I’m 23 now and I’ve certainly developed an obsession with my hair. My current state is about a Norwood 2 hairline but although I’ve always had thin fair hair it has never been in the bad state it is today. I am very insecure person and when out with friend’s I’m constantly in front of a mirror any chance I get, hence the common nick name mister vain! Vain I’m certainly not but insecure definitely, I feel like this hairloss is holding me back from enjoying my youth! Does anyone know the feeling!
Due to the info I’ve gathered I’m going straight into the big 3, if hairloss is going to beat me I’m not going to take it lying down.
If anyone could give me some info on the success ratio of finasteride or any further tips I would appreciate it.
I will be posting my pics over the weekend to see what you all think, lets hope this thread make’s it into the success stories one day.

ur regimen looks pretty good ( except for the daily masturbation..imo that 'dosage' is a tad too much ..lol)..have u considered adding a couple of supplements??
as far as the success rate of these stuff goes, i believe 1mg finasteride has around 83% success rate which is really good..not too sure abt the minoxidil and nizoral rates

Hi Clarkyboy, welcome to the board, you've done the right thing by choosing to do something about it instead of just let it slowly grind you down, the risks of the medication are nothing compared to the misery of having your youth stripped from you. I'm still in very early stages myself but am really happy with the way everything is going, I look forward to following your progress.

I wish alot of success in your battlei see you chose rogaine foam that's good it really helps especially in thinnig areas you should expect some shedding but youll get through it finasteride takes longer to act just remmeber to be follow your regimen and youll be allright
dont forget to eat well sleep well and reduce your stress level's i belive good health is very important when one is trying to regrow.

maybe too little. since i started masturbating 4 or 5 times a day my hair has never looked so good.

by 1/4 finasteride do you mean 1/4 of a proscar or 1/4 of a propecia?

And i would take jaymans advise and upping the doses for masturbation lol. :lol:
