Coconut oil and it's lauric acid content

I'm sorry if this has been asked before but is there any reason why coconut oil wouldn't work as a topical treatment? High lauric acid content which is know to reduce 5 alpha reductas. And it's also known to penitrate very well... Not trying to sell anything, you can buy the stuff bloody everywhere. Just curious.

I'm going to take pictures over the next three months, topically apply every night wash out In the morning before work. Any opinions welcome. Thanks.

Coconut oil is probably not going to do anything whatsoever to help with hair loss. Coconut oil has never been shown to do anything to treat alopecia.
