Hello guys, sorry for my english, I'm French.

I'm going to tell you my story, I really need your opinion I'm not well.
I started to lose my hair at a very young age. I have pictures of myself and at barely 15 I was already very sparse. I ate a lot of comments: "we see your skull". For several years, I had the impression that my fall did not budge, I found a lot of hair some times but visually no change until a few months ago. I notice that I am becoming more and more sparse. So I started taking finasteride / minoxidil. I have good results but for 4-5 days, bug the fall of phew that I type. I just have to run my hand through my hair to find it all over the desk?
What to do I am only 19 years old I am in complete insecurity, I had confidence in these products everything was fine until I had hope until a few days ago.

It ruins my life and I have dark thoughts, it is harder and harder to get up in the morning to go to university.

Is your scalp otherwise healthy outside of the hairloss, no redness, pain, itching, etc?

If you have any of those symptoms you need to see a doctor.

no, I really don't feel anything, I have a special shampoo, I use castor oil every other day.

Yes I made an appointment with a dermatologist, but months of waiting.

The worst part in this story is not knowing if my fall is related to DHT or something else, is it possible that it is another reason than DHT knowing that I lost them since very young ..?

Regarding my diet, I have changed everything and I eat very well, I have tried everything but nothing works

thanks for you reply

Sadly, the cause is usually DHT meaning male pattern baldness. It's good that you are going to get professional help. The shedding is often benevolent as I call it but it can be heartbreaking to experience and many stop treatment for that reason and that works only to temporarily forestall the issue usually. I would recommend that you use a dandruff shampoo for inflammation immediately and that might help.

Scalp Condition Impacts Hair Growth and Retention via Oxidative Stress
As can be seen from the summary of scalp abnormalities, the most common manifestation to hair emerged from an unhealthy scalp is an altered cuticle with evidence of surface pitting, roughness, cuticle rigidity, or breakage. In some cases, the impact is manifested as shine reduction. In addition to the physical changes, there are biochemical alterations observed in hair emerged from an unhealthy scalp, with both protein and lipid components affected, most commonly by oxidative damage.[17,61,66,67]

Finally, a number of observations have found that premature hair loss may be caused by the poor scalp health associated with either dandruff and seborrheic dermatitis,[62,63,64] or psoriasis,[68,69] indicating that the effect on the preemergent hair fiber may alter the anchoring force of the fiber with the follicle, as evidenced by an increased proportion both of catagen and telogen,[74,75] and of dysplastic anagen hairs (anagen hairs devoid of hair root sheaths)[75,76] in the trichogram (hair pluck).

Yes but the sheeding I spent it, it's been +120 days that I am on finasteride and minoxidil.

Yes I will inquire about an anti-dandruff shampoo.

But the most confusing is that for a while, my hair loss had been largely slowed down but for 4-5 days I have a really huge loss, I counted more than 200 hairs by passing my hand through them. hair 3 minutes.
