wigs are pretty much accepted as a complete joke and if you wear one are seen to be a loser in most cases

but what about concealers? how are we seen if we use these? what do women think about it? are you cool with it or not?

hair transplants dont seem to any have stigma. i certainly wouldnt give a flying f*** if anyone knew about it. id gladly tell everyone. but wigs, no f*****g way.

concealers can be f*****g amazing man

yea wigs are worthless and u will easily get caught no doubt in that.
but concealers can do a great job.

but i have a question
does excessive sweat have any effect on the concealers like toppik, caboki?
i mean will it stand sweat or slight touch ?

I love concealers, but I used to have a prejudice against them. I don't use them everyday but if I'm seeing all my friends or on a date then I use it around my temples just to get a fuller look. The product can take your hair from a 6 to an 8 - it is magic!

There are downsides like rain and people touching your hair - I think a lot of these downsides are mostly down to how much you use it as well. I only use a little but if I needed it as much as those guys you've used it as an example then I would be twice as conscious about it.

As for whether it is for losers:

It depends how you define a loser - improving your looks isn't the behaviour of a loser to me - doing nothing about it, now that is a loser to me.

Not that much - unless your were somehow drenched with sweat.

i dont know about toppik, but i use a kind of dermmatch, and while it looks amazing, it does have problems. if i sweat a lot, it does look odd at the hairline, or on areas where my hair is realy thin. but the real problem is restyling it. after some sweating or even swimming it stays in place fine, but im fucked for restyling it. i cant just casually get a towel and give my hair and face a quick wipe.

but i guess it depends how bad your hairloss is and how much your using.

lol when i say a loser, i mean what is our image to others? and especially girls? guys with wigs are ridiculed. there a joke. yes they are trying to improve their looks but theyre a laughing stock. and im sure most girls would just prefer a balding guy to just be secure with himself then wear a f*****g rug on his head.

but what about concealers? its kinda the same as a wig but not quite. it weird. maybe it depends how much loss you have?

are you guys happy to come clean to a girl that your not really a nw2 but nw3/4? and what do they think of it?

I don't mind telling friends but that's because I don't need it too badly. I think if I needed it a lot then it would be a different story.

Also, theres a massive stigma to wigs but not so much for a hair fibres.

I think part of the reason for this is that people simply dont know about hair fibres. I didnt until a year ago. No one knows what Toppik is!

On the other hand, late night tv watchers of a certain generation definitely know spray on hair.

looool

i used this sh*t for a long time. spray on hair. it works man for sure. but its a killer at the hairline. its just too heavy.

plus you notice how they used a lot of greying people in this video? the sh*t i used, restrand, left a white residue color after you sprayed. so you had to used their 'activitor' spray or whatever the f*** they called it to get rid of it. lol. wtf? it was brutal man. toppik and dermmatch like products are a lot more easier to work with and less fake looking

its not about fooling people man. its about other peoples perception of u when they know your using concealer? what do they think of u? do they care? are they embarassed? are u laughing stock for using it?

all i know is if u wear a wig you are, but if you have hair transplants you are not

where do concealers fit in??

Concealers are acceptable for spot treatment as an aid

The moment you apply, and use concealers as a complete hair restoration remedy, that's when it starts to become a problem. Start to look like a walking piece of chalk.

These pictures are bullshit.

In person, if you apply to much it looks like someone emptied a vacuum bag of dust on your head.

Dermmatch looks less chalky than the toppik+hairspray combo though. I'm trying to fight the dry frizzy tumbleweed look and maybe couvre would be even better.

yeah fair enough in real life those guys probably look stupid.

so i guess with small touch ups its ok but not for large areas. this seems to be the consensus
