I had been using 5%, then switched to 12.5% a year ago. No issues, no particular extra success either...

What do you mean "particular" ?
Did it improve it by a very small measure?
I've just started 7.5% for my hairline and wondering whether I will lose the hairline which is quite thin, or have it grow a little thicker

I don't mean on the bald part of the temples, I mean the place where min has grown peach fuzz, and where the hair is somewhat thin

This. Do not expect ANY result on the temples, it's almost impossible to get regrowth there with any of the pathetic topical solutions currently available.

I did. Both temples. I lost them after stopping finasteride for 4 months.. Though I can't be 100% sure it was because of minoxidil only, since I started it at the same time I resumed finasteride...

You think very thin dying hairs have any chance of thickening... at the temples? I had thin hair.... just a little more than fuzz on my temples when I started

I made the statement with caution, as my regiment involves Finasteride, RU, and dermarolling as well... I only noticed minor success months after commencing Finasteride, and it is very difficult to measure the impact of a stronger minoxidil. It may well have contributed to the continuation of maintenance, but switching from 5% to 12.5% has not shown any extra gain to this day.

Okay. But can it lead to a damage if you increase minoxidil concentration? I switched to 7.5% from the standard 5% a few weeks ago (6 or 8) and I can see my hairline is thinner. So is the top of my head... a little bit. I'm not sure what to make of it..

Is it possible to shed when you increase minoxidil just like when you first start using it? Should I go back to 5, or will the hair I've lost grow back.... What should I do? I feel screwed

I'm also considering a stronger minoxidil. Where are you considering purchasing it?

Also to the person stating they are using 12.5%, where are you sourcing this?

Thanks

I signed up to a 12-months course with Belgravia Centre in London, which I am no longer with. They do sell 12.5% solution without contracts...they come in cream rather than liquid, which may be more difficult to use on longer hair but does not run onto your face/pillow etc.
I'm sure there are many other sources available world-wide. I'll try to think of the one I found...

Thanks for that... Have you tried it or heard any reviews on it? I would consider this in comparison to Minoxidilmax 10% with AA.

I'm considering stronger minoxidil as well. I'm considering 15% lotion or cream or 30% cream minoxidil. The added ingredients are, 5% azelaic acid, 0.025% retinoic acid, 0.25% progesterone, 0.1% finasteride, and 0.1% hydrocortisone. All additives are optional. The creams and lotions automatically come with vitamin E and Dimethyl Isosorbide enhancers. They sell it in 60ml and recommend using 1ML a day and it should last 2 months. I was told that they only guarantee a shelf life of 9 months when I asked them if I can purchase 15 bottles. It's kind of expensive $90 for 15%, $100 for 30%, and all optional additives are free. They have a discount of 10% off if you buy 3 or more bottles, and at the time when I emailed the person they were having a limited time 15% off for 3 or more bottles. I was gonna go through with it, I was going to buy 6 bottles, I was in Florida, I was ready to pay and all, then was emailed saying they don't ship to Florida. But now i'm back in another state where they ship to and I will buy 6 bottles. It's called Murray Avenue Apothecary and you need a prescription to buy their high strengh minoxidil, you can get an online prescription from medical wellness center, MWC has a working relationship with MAA and they fax your prescription to MAA and then MAA contacts you.

Only issue I see is how do you know to use 1ml lotion or cream?
