Copper peptides and Zix/zinc.... is there really a conflict?

I've read about this, but I haven't seen any studies or anything. I've emailed the creator/maker/whatever of Zix with the question and he said there shouldn't be a problem with using CPs and zix, but, no offense to him, who knows how credible he really is.

Right now I'm using Folligen, diluted half with distilled water. Would there be a problem if I started using zix?

I was told that it was fine because the antagonistic effect occurs on a systematic level rather than a local one. Im no biologist but if anything, I believe they should balance each other out in a synergistic way.
