Could fructose malabsorption cause hair loss?

I finally got my results from Hydrogen breath test and I'm positive on fructose malabsorption. I'm vegetarian so my diet is basically fruit and vegetables(I also eat legumes, cereals....).I read that it could lead to nutrient deficiencies like zinc and iron. I do have low ferritin levels most of the time so I've to take iron pills permanently if I don't want to suffer from anemia(I do check my ferritin levels every 6months), but I've never checked my zinc levels.I do not discard a zinc deficiency too because I have too many symptoms. Could I have finally found why my hair loss does not stop even with strong meds, or it doesn't matter that much?

Found an interesting study that could explain why I used to respond to hair loss meds and why it is losing effectiveness now. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC7277952/#!po=34.2105

It makes lot of sense. I started losing more hair 6 months ago when I decided to be healthier and increase my fruit and vegetable intake. When my treatment was working good I barely ate any fruit and vegetables.

As I said earlier, fructose malabsorption lead to nutrient deficiency especially Zinc, Iron, folic acid and tryptophan.

I'm planning to do a blood test to confirm if I have Zinc deficiency, and if that's the case, I could have found why my treatments worked in the first months but not in the last 6 months.
