could loreal thickening shampoo cause shedding?

about 3 days ago, i tried the loreal thickening shampoo(gray bottle) i had been on equate dandruff shampoo with zinc for months, when i get up in the morning i have been brushing hair to check shedding, it seems much more after i started the loreal? is this due to the shampoo? I have also been on finasteride 1.25 mg for about 7 mo.

No. I have been on L'oreal thickening shampoo on and off for years and do not suffer from the above. This shampoo does not prevent hairloss or stimulate hair growth. All it does it makes it thicker.

I can only say you are going through a natural shedding cycle.
