Hello everyone! Been visiting forum as guest, but today I've decided to share my story with you :) First of all I don't know much about hairloss and its treatment. I came here because I'm getting frustrated about my hairline when it comes to girls of course :( Would be my worst nightmare if I got a new girl and she found out about this! Since my hair is semi-long and covers forehead no one can notice it, but if my hair gets wet or there is wind outside it's visible. Seeing all my friends and like 90% of other men outside with perfect NW1 hairlines makes me depressed.

You also have to know that my hairline is pretty much like this since I was a kid 6~7 years old. I'm interested if it is somehow possible to make it grow on those spots that you're about to see on pictures. Any tips on what should I do about it? Also I'm nowhere close of having a courage to shave it! There are some pictures of if after I washed it. Do I have nw2 or nw3 hairline?

Some guys just have a naturally high hairline. Mine is the same, I haven't actually had any recession except at the temples. If your hair has always been that far back then you haven't lost hair, therefore medication won't help. If there was never hair there, then you can't grow it back so don't worry about it. However it does look like you may have very early stage thinning, so perhaps go see a hair specialist and ask about finasteride.

Just curious..why would it bother you now at the age of 27 if your hair line has been like that since forever? Maybe consider hair transplant if that bothers you so much? by the way, your hair looks excellent :)

Never paid much attention to my or others people hairline till I was 19y old when I saw a guy with really low forehead and thought to myself "omg that guy is growing hair on his frikin forehead". After that I panicked a bit because I thought that I was losing hair. Then I checked some photos of me as a kid with short hair and saw that my hairline was always like this. But now that I'm older I don't want to deal with longer hair. Shorter hair is just more practical and can be styled. It also bothers me that my hair bangs barely cover forehead on sides and can make my hairline even more obvious if there is any space between hair :) But I have no courage to cut it short.

Was thinking at one point to make my hair like macklemore. Might look good since I don't need really need hair on sides.

okay :). if you don't have male pattern baldness and are not losing hair, i guess a hair transplant may help to lower your hair line. I know some girls do it to make them look younger (lower hairline). cheers!
