Cut ur hair at home or go to hair salon?

What do you guys do? My temples have receeded and are prob Norwood 2.5 and I'm in need of a hair cut but im having some anxiety going to the hair salon cuz of my hair line. Does anyone else get the same way or do you avoid it all together by cutting ur hair at home?

How does anyone cut the back of their hair themselves? Even hairdressers don't cut their own hair.

I just use a buzzer. Use a tape and aim after your ears or something if you want a straight line with no hair at the back... :whistle:

I used to cut it at home but now I go to the salon, heck...I just returned from the salon, fresh with with a short nw3 on my head.I hope I can care less and less about it every day.

Since I started to lose hair I've kept it short so I'm of the thinking that going to a hairdressers or barbers is a wasteof money. Can't make a silk puse out of a sow's ear and all that. So I've been using my own clippers for the last few years. Higher grades for when I want it trimmed but with a bit of hair to do something with or low grades when I trim it shorter. (Never lower than a 3 on top yet though)
