Hey guys, just had 1700 grafts two and a half weeks ago. Really starting to shed and would like to shave my head like i did befor the procedure. Is it safe to do so now, I use electric clippers with no gaurd. thanks

don’t shave both donor and recipient are before month 1. You can shave the donor area after 3 weeks but you have to wait some more weeks (I’ll say more than a month) to shave your recipient area because you can damage the grafts….

Thanks Ben and Free for your responses. Let me ask you Free; i hear after 10 days the grafts are solidly in place, why do you think a month is necessary. Once again thanks for everyone's advise thru this akward stage.

As I wrote above, I believe that shaving the recipient area before total healing is wrong in my eyes. You have paid so much money and put so much effort for your hair transplant, I am sure you can be patient for some weeks in order to be sure about everything, even if this is not the case…. Just my opinion.
