cytotoxic Drugs for AA

I'm wondering if anyone has tried cytotoxic drugs in mild doses to treat Alopecia Areata. Although treatment decreases levels of both CD4+ and CD8+ T cells, the percentage of CD4+ cells usually decreases more profoundly during treatment so that a relative increase in CD8+ cells is seen. This is a good sign. I have read studies where patients who have no treatment whatsoever done recover when CD8+ cells increase and CD4+ cells decrease or stay regular (occuring in blood naturally). I would like any response to this please.
