It's a scare article, nothing more. You really have very very little to worry about.

They throw out some numbers like "over 1400 registered members" on propeciahelp....but that is a TINY number in the grand scheme of things. Millions of guys take this drug, and 98% of them don't have problems.

I've been on it for 4 years, with no sides (except maybe some lethargy)

There is a reason this newspaper is known as the Daily Fail. It is the most misleading pile of crap to ever be invented (usually full of post hoc fallacies) . I would consider it a personal insult to wipe my backside with it if I ran out of toilet paper.

1400 registered members:

I speculate:

1. Probably 50% are anxiety related problems (not to dismiss this, anxiety can manifest in real physical conditions).
2. A good few percentages are probably those with a vested interested in scaring people onto alternative products.
3. Post-hoc/causation fallacies- reasons unrelated to finasteride that caused the symptons but happened to be after the person took the drug - you know that shark attacks increase as ice cream sales increase? Must be the ice cream.
4. The remaining are probably/possibly genuine. Not unusual for any drug to have a serious consequence for a minority. Vaccines kill people every year....have you been vaccinated?

Scientific studies are the only ones worth reading, everything else is probably bull****.
