Dandruff on the hairline bad?

I know this for a fact. minoxidil causes dandruff. But is this a bad thing? I've been applying minoxidil on the hairline for more than 8 months now and am using nizoral, but I keep getting flakes in the hairline. And I have receded a bit while on minoxidil.

My question is does dandruff like this lead to increased hairloss and what can be done about this dandruff that won't go away. Does folligen get rid of this dandruff that is caused by rogaine? Help me out here. I am maintaining hair everywhere with propecia. Just at the hairline, seems to be not reacting well to the minoxidil that i apply there.

Do some reading on the subject and talk to a dermatologist but as most of us know here, it's DHT that causes hairloss and not dandruff.....but what do i know
