First noticed receding of temples at age 22, year 2004. Went on Propecia that November. It's been roughly six months since then and my hair loss has stopped completely, my hair is incredibly thick and healthy looking, and no one mentions/suspects that I have hair loss. In fact, when I ask people if they notice, I get "are you crazy?" type answers.
I have resounding hope and resolve in being able to maintain what I have for years to come, especially in the time span until HM is available, at which point I'll simply have my temples filled in more for a crazily incredible head of hair and fill it in as hair loss may progress.
I wish everyone the best of luck and urge them to not remotely let yourself sink into a depression over this. Don't get sad about it and be a victim. Get angry. Don't take this bullshit. Go hit the gym, get kickass clothes, and bang the f*** out of your girlfriend. If you are a man who demands respect, you will always be a man who demands respect.
