Days off from shampooing

I read in this forum that someone, I think it was Bob Marley, was only shampooing on Nizoral days. I had noticed my hair was getting a bit dry after shampooing 3 x a week with Nizoral and 4x with Revivogen shampoo. However, the other day I tried taking a day off of shampooing, but I still used my thickening conditioner.
Wow, my hair looked a felt great. It really seemed to help my hair condition. I'm going to give my hair a few days off a week. I mean after all the Nizoral study on this website mentions that the subjects who used Nizoral, the ones who showed improvement in their hair condition, used Nizoral 3-4 times a week and did not shampoo on other days.
So that means, in my opinion, that taking a day off shouldn't be bad for your hair, provided you are using Nizoral.
Something to consider....

I try so hard to go one day every other week without washing my hair, but I am obsessed with feeling clean.

As far as the shampoos are going, don't you think perhaps that may be overkill using 2 male pattern baldness related type shampoos every day in a on and off rotation? Those shampoos aren't exactly "gentle". Maybe cut back and throw in a regular shampoo once or twice a week? Sometimes less is better. Giveing your hair and scalp a break from treatments and allowing them to rebuild some oils might be good for you.

I'll consider that.
Actually I'm seriously considering a "Bob Marley," and just cutting back to 3 times week with nizoral only.
I'm experimenting.

Keep in mind Nizoral is a dandruf shampoo and not specifically for hairloss. 2 or 3 times a week should be fine, I think Nizoral used to say use every 3 to 4 days on the package.
