Dealing with ball ache from finasteride

I took finasteride for three days this week--Sun, Mon, Tues. I took approximately 1.25 mg each time. At the end of Monday night I had some slight "ball ache" that got worse through Tuesday. I didn't take any finasteride on Wednesday or today, the ball ache has almost subsided. I thought it might have been in my head but I've been ready for any "in my head" side effects.

Anyway, if the ball ache had not been more or less constant Tuesday-last night I would have kept taking the finasteride...but the constant ache is really annoying. Sometimes it kind of hurt, but mostly it was just this dull slight ache...tolerable but not something I want to have to put up with for a long time.

Does anyone have any suggestions on what I should do? reduce dosesage? I don't see how I'm gonna cut up my fincar any smaller, those things are tinyyyyy. Should I power on through the ball ache? I don't really know what to do. I want to continue taking finasteride as I had no other side effects. I'm pretty sure the ball ache was caused by finasteride and was not in my head--over time it transitioned the pain from the mostly left to the right testicle and the sensation has decreased but is still there slightly (48 hours now since my last finasteride).

Thanks

The ball ache is due to upregulation of Testosterone production by the testes beyond their normal limits, due to loss of DHT.

Reducing dosage will make no difference since Finasteride inhibits nearly same amount of DHT wether at 0.2mg, 1mg, 5mg or beyond.

Sorry, sounds like your body and hormonal axis is very sensitive to drops in DHT and is reacting naturally, as it should. However, long term Testosterone upregulation is not good for the body or testes, and has lead to testicular cancers in mice treated with the drug.

I take all of your posts with a grain of salt because of all the anti-finasteride BS I've seen you spew on these forums.

Anyone else have a recommendation?

Buddy, what I've told you is based on scientific facts. If you want me to post the studies I will.

I'm just the messenger, to ignore the information is to continue on at your own peril.

You asked a question, I gave you the scientific answers for WHY. If you want to ignore the info simply because it came from my username, that's your problem.
